Stop by the Rib & Chop House in Cheyenne, Gillette, Laramie, or Sheridan and purchase a rack of ribs. The Rib & Chop House are graciously donating $1 for every rack of ribs purchased this month. You can also give a donation when getting your tab.

Rock Springs is Painting the Town Pink for breast cancer awareness month. The winner will be announced at the Ladies Night Out. Starting at 5 pm at The Broadway Theater. What a great way to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month! The 2nd annual Plates for Pink will run Friday, October 13th - Saturday, October 20th. Each night of the week will feature a different local restaurant. Restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds from their evening event to WBCI. Enjoy a 10k run, 5k run/walk, or 1.5 mile walk on Saturday, October 20th in Sheridan. The run will start at the Whitney Commons at 326 W. Alger. Proceeds go to early cancer detection & screening for patients at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Check out the 2018 registration form for more details.

Ladies Night Out in Rock Springs
Head over to the Bunning Freight Station on Saturday, October 5th from 6-9 pm for a Ladies Night Out. Dress in your medieval period costume and enjoy games, raffles, refreshments, and dancing. Grab your friends and make it a night!

Thrivent will be hosting their Live Generously week in October. The Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative has been selected for October 7th. Please join us from 11 am- 2 pm at the Rail Yard for a blood drive. Anyone that donates will receive a 10% off coupon to use at Rail Yard. Thrivent is generously donating $10 for each blood donation and $20 for each platelet donation to WBCI.

Wyo Gives
WyoGives is an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network and is designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits. This 24-hour day of online giving takes place on July 15, 2020. This is a special month for Wyoming, as it marks the 130th anniversary of Wyoming’s statehood and is a great time to support Wyoming non-profits. https://www.wyogives.org/

“Saving the Rack” 8-Ball Pool Tournament
"Saving the Rack" together with Paradise Pool Leagues. Join them for the annual Women's Amateur 8-Ball Classic on October 1st-3rd at the Peppermill. A percentage of the proceeds will go to WBCI to support breast health programs in Wyoming.

On Saturday, October 16th, WBCI will host their annual “Pink” game. The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has generously shared their game sponsorship to help promote the WBCI. Together, CRMC and WBCI will offer discount tickets, free t-shirts and accept donations to forward breast cancer programs in Wyoming. Attendees are asked to wear pink to show their support.
